Ethel Sweeney TV Stand September 13th, 2018 - 23:51:41
Altra TV stand put it together. Yesterday with a friend now I should have taken about 45 minutes. It took twice as long ran into a couple of issues I wanted to share with. You really feel that's put together. It's a really nice looking piece and I'll. Tell you what a difference it's made in my apartment and living room here, a couple things that I had the challenge one, the piece back here this piece put in the back when we screwed it into the wood, the wood actually came out.
It was like as if it was dried out wood, but we got it to work, and so it's fine now and the other challenging situation is the bracket for the door for inside here. So what happened was they were actually where you need to screw in there? Weren't really holes, so I had a real use of muscle. I don't have an electric screwdriver so just be prepared. You might find there are no holes, I'm not sure what the engineering issue with this.
If you are the manufacturer, you might want to look into this issue because I think others have had the same problem. So what you probably want to do is put the bracket in first and then attach it to the door. So I just wanted to give you heads up on that. It does come with a shelf for the inside. I haven't used it, yet you can, if you choose to use it. This just looks beautiful. I have a 42 inch TV. It can hold up to a 50-inch TV and it just really is a beautiful piece.
It comes in two different color version. I got the express, I think the other ones, the black and cherry wood combination, which is interesting looking, but all in all, it's just beautiful and the company did a good job as far as labeling and following the instructions. But again the challenge is was the manufacturing issues if they could resolve that, then, especially with the holes where the door goes and the bracket you'd be fine. So if you have any questions, let me know really looking forward to. I mean this for many years and if I ever want to upgrade my TV at least I know I can go to a 50-inch, it would be really nice size, so that's it for now. I did by the way record a time-lapse of me putting it together.
